National Theatre Live: Nye
Michael Sheen plays Nye Bevan in a surreal and spectacular journey through the life and legacy of the man who transformed Britain’s welfare state and created the NHS. Described by writer Tim Price as `epic and deeply personal’, this Welsh fantasia sees Nye looking back on his life from working as a miner to founding the NHS.
Directed by the National’s Artistic Director Rufus Norris (Small Island).
