When Autumn Falls (2025)

The Regal Cinema’s World Cinema series presents When Autumn Falls from acclaimed French writer-director François Ozon.

Hélène Vincent stars as Michelle, a loving grandmother who is enjoying a peaceful retirement in a quiet Burgundy village, close to her best friend Marie-Claude.

When her Parisian daughter drops off her son to spend the school holiday with his grandma, Michelle, feeling stressed out by her daughter, decides to serve her toxic mushrooms for lunch.

Valérie quickly recovers, but forbids her mother from seeing her grandson anymore.

Feeling lonely and guilty, Michelle falls into a depression… until Marie-Claude’s son gets out of prison.

The film’s leading cast features Josiane Balasko, Ludivine Sagnier, Pierre Lottin and Garlan Erlos.
