Multiple Academy Award-winning The Sting is set in 1930s Chicago and tells the story of young grifter Johnny Hooker (Robert Redford) who seeks revenge for his murdered partner. Teaming up with a master of the big con, Henry Gondorff (Paul Newman), the duo plan an elaborate scheme to take revenge on mobster Doyle Lonnegan (Robert Shaw).

George Roy Hill (Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid) won Best Director at the 1974 Academy Awards, where the film picked up a total of seven Oscars, including Best Original Song Score.
