50th Anniversary: Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains the Same (1976)
One of the most groundbreaking concert films of the 1970s, Led Zeppelin’s The Song Remains the Same is in its 50th anniversary year.
Capturing the best of Led Zeppelin’s legendary and electrifying appearances at Madison Square Garden in 1973, the impressive concert footage is interspersed with behind-the-scenes moments with the band that include at-home glimpses of Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and the late John Bonham.
The film has also been colourfully enhanced by sequences which were designed to reflect each band member’s individual fantasies and hallucinations.
Featured in the set list are blistering live renditions of “Black Dog,” “Dazed and Confused,” “Stairway to Heaven,” “Whole Lotta Love,” “The Song Remains the Same,” and “Rain Song” among others.
Band members supervised the remastering, and remixing, of the film’s soundtrack which you can anticipate sounding incredible in our finely tuned auditorium!
