Parasite (2020)

The Regal’s Foreign Film series presents the South Korean Film Parasite.

South Korean dark comedy thriller film directed by Bong Joon-ho.

Ki-taek is the penniless and unmotivated patriarch of his equally unambitious family, the Kims, who occupy themselves by working for next to nothing in their squalid basement-level apartment.

When a lucrative business proposition paves the way for a cunning scheme, Ki-taek’s son Ki-woo summons up the courage to pose as an English tutor for the teenage daughter of the wealthy and glamorous Park family.

Once Ki-woo is hired, the rest of the Kims, posing as skilled workers, integrate themselves into the lives of the Parks. When the Kims discover a Parks family secret life as both families know it is turned upside down.

The film is in Korean with English Subtitles.
