Home Alone (1990)

When young trouble-maker Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) acts out the night before a family trip to Paris, his mother (Catherine O’Hara) makes him sleep in the attic.

The McCallisters head to the airport for their Christmas holiday without Kevin, leaving him Home Alone. The feisty 8-year-old finds himself having to protect his house from a pair of burglars who are set on robbing the McCallister’s family home.
