Overwhelmed by her suffocating schedule, touring European princess Ann (Audrey Hepburn) escapes from her guardians and falls in love with an American news reporter (Gregory Peck) in Rome.

Roman Holiday was critically well received and bestowed with awards including 3 Oscars for Best Actress (Aubrey Hepburn), Best Writing and Best Costume Design (Black and White).
