Paper Planes (2015)

Part of our FILM FESTIVAL OF FLIGHT: Friday 20th – Sunday 29th September 2019.

Paper Planes is the story of Dylan, a young Australian school boy who recently lost his mother, as he discovers he has a hidden talent: making paper planes. All Dylan has to do to qualify for Australian National Championship is to make a paper plane that can fly 25 metres…

The film stars Ed Oxenbould (who recently had a leading role in Wildlife) as Dylan and Julian Dennison, who is best known for his hilarious part as Ricky in “Hunt For The Wilderpeople”, as Dylan’s supportive, albeit fun-poking, friend.

An imaginative film for all the family, Paper Planes is as funny as it is sweet.

“A sweet-natured family comedy” – The Guardian

“Hits the spot” – Mark Kermode
