Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018)

The latest Fantastic Beasts tale follows Grindelwald, the powerful dark wizard, who was captured by the Magical Congress of the United States of America at the end of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.

Grindelwald quickly, and expertly, escapes custody and sets about gathering followers, most of whom are unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help… unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

The Crimes of Grindelwald offers a wider view into the history of the wizarding world; full of characters that fans will know and love from both the original film and the Harry Potter franchise.

Jude Law is a young Dumbledore, Johnny Depp stars as Grindelwald and Eddie Redmayne returns as Newt Scamander. The film also stars Dan Fogler, Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller and Alison Sudol.
